From the moment you decide to join our network through your grand opening and beyond, our training and support teams eliminate the frustrations typically experienced in a start-up business. We assist and support all of our franchisees with:
- Site selection — where we provide our franchisees with a kit to help them evaluate a site & then provide extensive feedback and discussion based on our 20+ years of experience
- Market research and analysis
- Equipment, layout and design
- Comprehensive “Scoop University” initial training program covering:
Scoop Shop Operations, Marketing, Merchandising, Customer Service Skills,
Human Resources, and Financial Management Techniques - In-store training at your scoop shop prior to opening
- Grand opening planning and support
- Access to our proprietary information including training manuals, recipes, operating standards and the tools you’ll need to give back to the communities in which you do business
- Marketing and promotional support, including camera-ready artwork for local promotions, posters, radio and newspaper ads for system-wide promotions, and other tools designed to attract new customers, increase customer loyalty and increase visit frequency
- On-going training & support, that includes shop visits from our dedicated regional consulting and support team
- Networking opportunities with fellow-franchisees including Ben & Jerry’s annual franchisee community gathering, special events and regional meetings
- Access to our private franchisee extranet site, offering the latest news, success stories, articles, product and operational updates, corporate news and industry trends.
